Dungeons & Drogans 2: Session 14

The Drogans headed off to meet with the clearly reputable gentleman who beseeched of them a secret meeting in a faraway, mysterious meeting location. To their utter shock and surprise, this turned out to be a trap.

Two tieflings ambushed the Drogans, along with one of those large, animated bronze minotaur statues that Orontor uses to keep the peace in the Seven Pillared Hall. The Drogans delt with the tieflings swiftly, but the bronze minotaur proved to be a juggernaut of a foe.

Win'tyr managed to overcome unbelievable levels of misfortune and take down one of the tieflings; Coltaine kept the bronze statue at bay, buying his companions time to find a way to deal with it; Rhekd uttered prayers to weaken the statue and render his allies capable of harming it, and Nima was the one to finally bring the behemoth down.

On a tiefling corpse, the Drogans found an amulet that controlled the bronze statue, as well as papers that implicated someone named Paldemar, Blackfang gnolls, and contained a map to the gnolls' whereabouts.
