Dungeons & Drogans 2: Session 32

The Drogans teleported up to the final level of the Tower of Mysteries, where they found the mage Paldemar and his minions lying in wait for their arrival. As the Drogans attempted to battle past his minions -- including an undead former companion of theirs, Zaxzarrd turned Death Knight -- Paldemar rained devastating lightning spells down upon them, until they could ignore the mage no more and rushed him.

The Drogans eventually managed to wound Paldemar and take down all but one of his minions, but unable to coordinate their efforts, they sustained heavy damage and Corvus fell in battle, breathing his last breath in a valiant attempt to rescue his uncle, Lord Padraig.

Wounded, Paldemar retreated into his chamber and set his last minion to guard the door. Equally wounded, the Drogans retreated to the entrance of this level of the tower. Nima listened through a locked door and heard Paldemar muttering to Lord Padraig, and the Drogans then retreated back to the Seven-Pillared Hall.
