Canadian metal band formerly known as Sacramentary Abolishment (1993-1998), but changed their name to Axis of advance when Paulus Kressman left. Kressman went on to form another death metal band called Rites of Thy Degringolade and currently plays drums in the black metal band Weapon.

Axis of Advance would have been the title for the third Sacramentary Abolishment album had it been released.
