Welcome to SwamiStudios, I am your host moonlightswami and this is my series centered around Pokemon VGC doubles battles!! Its entitled “Road To Regionals” because my goal one day would be to hold my own and attend a regional tournament one day. I have a strong passion for VGC, and have studied it for numerous months, preparing for this series. I didn’t want to jump into it without having some sort of prior knowledge, so I took a hiatus from posting to learn, grow, and improve myself in regards to doubles battling. At first, I plan on finding awesome teams using the website www.nuggetbridge.com among others, and implementing them as I get used to battling on my own even further into VGC 2015. Once I feel more comfortable building teams, I will branch out, make adjustments, and try my own unique squads in hopes of finding some awesome combinations, and successful teams. I haven’t identified what my style is quite yet, but I would say its between aggressive and passive. I would say my main weakness currently is that I don’t have the best judgement when picking my team members during the team preview. Once I get better at that, I think I can further myself as a player and begin to rise up the ranks, BUT that takes a lot of practice.

Overall, I want to continue to get better at battling under Pokemon VGC rules, and the ORAS Battle Spot is the best place to do it for me right now. I hope you guys enjoy my journey, through all the ups and downs as I continue on my quest to become a great VGC player in my Road To Regionals!!! less
