Sony's no stranger to the tablet world, releasing the very impressive Xperia Tablet Z earlier this year, but when it comes to Windows 8 tablets, the company is only just now testing the waters. Besides the Xperia Z1 and those Cyber-shot lens-style cameras, Sony brought a new tablet to show off at this year's IFA, the Windows-8-running Vaio Tap 11.

As should be obvious from the name, we're looking at an 11-inch screen, this time with a 1080p resolution. The tablet runs an Intel Core chip, with options up to a Core i7. It has a Surface-like keyboard cover that attaches magnetically, but this one can detach from the tablet and be used wirelessly. There's also a pressure-sensitive stylus for pen input.
