I grew up backpacking and I still love it. These days however it's tough to break away with job, life, and TNP demands but I do it whenever I can, taking along friends and family. These trips provide the foundation of many TNP philosophies and data points. I take you to some of my favorite places in these adventures and show details of gear testing at times. Carry weights are substantial on these adventures, sometimes my pack weighs 90 lbs. Camera gear, emergency supplies, and lots of gear testing items came along in these deep backcountry trips. Filming is always a challenge but I do my best at showing the gear and more importantly, capturing the fun, the scenery, and memories of these adventures.
