Bangkok is the largest and capital city of Thailand. Situated along the Chao Phraya River, and not too far from the mouth of the ocean, Bangkok is an extremely important international hub and the attracts locas Thais from around the country.

Bangkok is famous for many things, including shopping, entertainment, and most importantly, food.

For shopping in Bangkok, Thailand, you may want to check out the weekend Chatuchak Market or the massive Platinum Fashion Mall. Also be sure to check out the area of Siam and Pratunam Market. Shopping in Bangkok goes on forever and you surely won't have any trouble finding lots of things to purchase.

For entertainment, there's no shortage either. Outdoor exercise, floating markets, museums, temples, and a large supply of nightlife are all popular things to do in Bangkok. However, for myself, I choose to be entertained by the awesome Bangkok street food selection.

Food in Bangkok, both restaurants and local street food, is in everlasting supply. Street food is one of the top reason to visit Bangkok - a buffet of tasty things that are convenient to purchase right along the street and immediately devour. Thai street food is tasty and it's quite sanitary to eat. Whether you get a piping hot bowl of noodles, or a fresh plate of pad kra pao (stir fried meat with Thai holy basil), you're in for some tasty Thai dishes!
