Puzzle games can be a whole lot of fun. There's something about the brain teasing and the need to carefully plan things out and whatnot that can be rather appealing to the inquisitive mind. On the other hand, that very brain-teasing-ness can be a bit frustrating at times, especially if the game gets too difficult. It can be fun then, to play one that's not too hard, just to relax a bit and have some fun. And that's just what the Wheely games bring to the table, some good, puzzle gaming fun.

At first, one would assume that the games are racing games, what with having all the cars and whatnot. Now, while there may be some cases where you'll be tearing down roads being chased by other cars, that's hardly the focus of the game. Instead, it's more about solving puzzles, and the fun that can be had with them.

The visual style of the game is rather obviously geared more towards a younger audience, what with the cares having large googly eyes and the overall cartoony feel of the graphics. That doesn't mean that only children will enjoy the games though, they can still be rather fun and relaxing to play. Also, the child in all of us can certainly enjoy being a kid again, if only for the duration of a game. The graphics colorful and easy on the eyes, making for a rather relaxing atmosphere that helps when the puzzles can get a bit complicated.

Like the graphics, the music in the game has a rather relaxed and subdued feel to it. They set the mood and ambiance of the game rather well, making even harder levels seem easier with the calming and soothing music. The sounds, while not all that plentiful, are also subdued and relaxing. There aren't that many of them, but they're there and can be rather quirky and fun to listen to as well.

The gameplay is fairly simple, you won't be doing anything too complicated in terms of controls either. Most of the time, you'l just be clicking on the screen, or dragging things across, or what have you. Most often, the different things that you can interact with on the screen are fairly obvious enough, and a quick observation of the things around you will often reveal just what you need to do in order to beat the level. No two levels are ever quite the same, so it can be fun to see what the next puzzles will throw at you.

These could be anything from figuring out how to get from point A to point B on the screen, to interacting with other cars and equipment to access a certain something, or even escaping from the police should you need to. The solutions are fun to watch, and while, as aforementioned, rather easy and simple to get at, they can be fun. Children might have a bit more trouble with it, but the challenge will certainly be refreshing.
