Ever have those times where you feel like indulging the silly little second grader in you? Allowing yourself to descend into the ridiculous, and gratuitous toilet humor that makes anyone under the age of ten (and perhaps plenty of us adults as well) giggle like mad? Are you also looking for something simple to play that will sate your need to find something to fill the gaping void that Flappy Bird left behind? Then these games are most definitely for you!

Granted, because Flappy Bird was such a simple game, there was very little that could be done to improve on it. These games all keep the same formula, but add their own brand of humor and panache to the gameplay, making for some rather unique little games which are all just as easy to play, and just as much fun.

We've got the obligatory toilet humor with Farty Bird, Flappy Turd, and Farty Flappy Butt. As you can imagine, these all have a great deal of low-brow (but no less amusing for that) humor to them. The first gives you control of a silly hand-drawn little bird with chronic flatulence problems farting its way through a series of hand drawn obstacles. Flappy Turd takes the bird out of the equation altogether, and outright gives you a smelly brown turd that propels itself through some strange magically aerodynamic flatulence. What's more, it leaves wet brown streaks of er... magic flight dust... everywhere it goes. A little less toilet-y than a flying turd, but more ridiculous than a farting bird, is what you get with Farty Flappy Butt which is, as can be expected from the name of the game, all about a flying butt. Take the other two games and you've probably got a fairly good idea of what this game is like.

Of course, these aren't all toilet humor. You've also got Travel Plane which is a whole lot like Flappy Bird, but adds a bit of extra gameplay by making it so the levels are actually levels, and not just randomly placed pipe barriers. You can also collect bonuses, extra points, etc... all what you would expect from a typical platformer. You've also got the occasional baddy, making for a more interesting game. This is similar to Giant Flappy Swine which gives you bad guys coming at you along with other things in the environment that you can interact with. Being a giant (and googly-eyed) flying pig, you can pretty much plow through trees, biplanes, and all sorts of other things that are in your way. All you've really got to avoid are the mountains (which also rather strangely grow from from the ceiling as well... but hey, you're controlling a giant flying pig, things don't need to make any sort of sense at all) which are the only things that can really stop you in your tracks.

So if you're looking to get your Flappy Bird fix, and are looking for some silly fun to delight the little kid (or little adult, even) in you, then give these games a go! less
