Андрей Ширман родился 23 мая 1982 г. в городе Пермь , России. Он рос в семье профессиональных музыкантов, которые привили ему любовь к музыке.

7 декабря DJ Smash вышел на сцену крупнейшего фестиваля электронной музыки «MIND GAMES» вместе с лучшими представителями мировой хаус-сцены -- Basto, Dyro, R3hab, Sidney Samson, Zoo Brazil и другими.

12 декабря 2013 года личная копилка наград DJ Smash пополнилась еще одной наградой VKLYBE.TV AWARDS 2013 за лучший celebrity проект Boom Boom Room by DJ Smash.
