Gopikas tell Yashoda that Krishna has eaten a lot of dirt and mud. Yashoda scolds Him and then asks to show His mouth. On seeing the mouth, Yashoda is shocked as she can see the whole universe in His mouth.

Lord Vishnu now presents in front of Yashoda and tells her that she can see the whole universe in His mouth and she is the first human to do so. This is because of extreme Love for Him and the Bhakti which she did in her past lives; Bhakti is beyond the limits of thoughts and intelligence or Buddhi.

Yashodamata, if she remembers the event will know who Krishna is and hence Maya comes and covers up the event; meaning thereby, the event will not be remembered by her in her human life; though the blessings of Lord will continue with her.

Now, as per the wish of Lord, Yashoda forgets the event and thinks some ill spirit has gone in the mouth of Krishna and asks Him to pray to Gods to avoid ill fortune; which, Krishna happily does. less
