these waters two of Britain's biggest fishing fleets, Brixham and Newlyn, are locked in battle.

With high fish prices the Atlantic winter is a time when skippers and crews can make a killing, but working in storms reaching force 10 it's also a time when they risk paying the ultimate price.

With only the Search and Rescue squadrons to protect them, the fleets are in a fight to land the biggest catch, a fight to stay out in the worst weather, and when disaster strikes, a fight just to stay alive. less
