"To lead, to excel, to overcome"- this is the motto that is instilled in the minds of officers-to-be as they go through their training at OCS. Titled "The Making of an Officer", the second season of Every Singaporean Son (ESS) follows a group of Full-time National Servicemen as they rough it out on overseas training and master the specialised skills needed to lead as Armour, Infantry and Engineer officers.

With fresh faces, and a new storyline, ESS2 promises a refreshing take on the cadets and their experiences as they strive to earn their officer ranks, coupled with lots of explosions and gun battles.
