We're checking out some let's play gameplay of a game coming out on steam shortly, Calm Down, Stalin. This indie game is...something of a simulator I suppose? Really I'd put it more in the attention and dexterity management sphere of gaming. The idea is you must utilize Stalin's hands with the mouse, swapping back and forth between his arms while trying to balance several in game factors. Stalin's stress level, his enemies, and the various issues that crop up around him like his telephone ringing and assassination attempts must be thwarted if you want the Soviet Union to prosper...all while slamming down shots of vodka.

For what it is, it's a fun, comical game that has quite a bit of different tidbits pulling your attention in multiple different ways, in fact this itself makes it very hard to do a commentary of. You're trying to do so many things at once that the concentration gets real, you've got to slip into the zone and channel your inner Stalin. Anyway, for an indie game this one is really something else. I'm enjoying it. less
