We're checking out some gameplay highlights and funny moments from Ravenfield Beta 4, a very cool battlefield like game that is completely free and a blast to play. The simple, low poly style reminds me quite a bit of Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, and the ragdoll physics are pretty funny as well. Right now there are two maps to play on, 4 main weapons like rifles, a shotgun, and a sniper rifle, and a few additional items you are allowed to carry. There's also two maps right now, a smaller, more compact map called the Island, and a larger, more sprawling map called the Dust Bowl. For such a simple game, the gameplay is actually extremely fun as you can pilot vehicles like tanks and helicopters, snipe opponents, toss frag grenades, and do just about anything you could normally do in a pay style FPS. At like, 64 mb in size, this game will probably run on just about any computer and takes up almost no space, so it's easy to jump in and have some fun.

ABOUT: RAVENFIELD:

Walk upon the Ravenfield with your BLUE allies! Take down those pesky REDs using helicopters, cars, guns, and active ragdoll physics.

The objective of the game is to beat your enemy team's score by 200 points. Do this by capturing flags and murderizing enemies. Besides providing additional spawn points, each flag your team holds increases your Flag Multiplier. This multiplier increases the score you gain per enemy kill. The team score bars indicate what team is currently winning, push out the enemy bar to win the game! You can also win the game by capturing all spawn points.
