TEDxPearlRiver is independently organised by a group of Hong Kong-based visionaries and a sponsored event, not-for-profit, free of charge, and by invitation only.

TEDxPearlRiver is committed to Ideas Worth Spreading, bringing together Hong Kong and Pearl River Delta movers and shakers, who use both sides of their brains and have side projects in addition to their day jobs, who are open to ideas, and who can drive change.

TEDxPearlRiver offers free knowledge and inspiration from some of the world's most inspired thinkers, aiming to take Hong Kong and the PRD ideas to the world stage. It welcomes people who seek a deeper understanding of the world, and they hope to turn that understanding into a better future for us all. www.TEDxPearlRiver.com

About TEDx, x = independently organized event

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations).
